Let's Connect!

"Angie prepared my family for a wonderful trip to Japan. She provided a fun, well rounded, family friendly itinerary. She also has friends in Japan who are able to provide support and assistance while there. Prior to our amazing adventure she tutored my daughter and her friend in Japanese. They learned so much in a short amount of time. Thank you Angie for answering all of our various questions and concerns. Prior to being introduced to you, we were a little overwhelmed initially when planning this vacation but you helped make the process so much smoother.."

The Importance of Casual Japanese

Japan is such a beautiful country. So is their language, the people, and their culture. It's one thing to visit Japan as tourist, but it's another thing to show respect to the country by being able to communicate with the native people in their language. A simple "konnichiwa" and "arigatogazaimasu" will go a long. Just imagine to be able to order your food in Japanese. You will, for sure, receive all the brownie points!

Why learn with Angie?

Angie has been studying Japanese for over 10 years. Her experience living in Osaka, Japan for 3 years as an English teacher has boosted her confidence to speak on a casual level with her Japanese students, friends and family. She recognized that even though her formal Japanese studies may have provided her with the baseline of understanding the Japanese language, it wasn't until she was immersed in the day-to-day Japanese life and culture, did she realize the importance of speaking casual Japanese.

Are you looking to grow your confidence to be able to ask "Where is the station?" or "How much is this candy?" while you are traveling in Japan?Well you are at the right spot.
